How a wedding turned into a business (seriously)

I’m a degree-educated Illustrator and Graphic Designer, specialising in small business branding, illustration and bespoke event stationery. Before diving into design full-time, I spent years teaching Graphic Communication, Media, and Film Studies, helping students develop their own creative and analytical skills.

But everything changed when I got married. I designed and planned my whole wedding—from the save the dates to the on-the-day signage—and I realised how fulfilling it was to create my own work for a change. I loved every part of the process, especially branding the event with a sentimental "3 of clubs" logo, which now forms part of my business's identity.

That experience re-ignited my passion for design, leading me to turn my creative energy into a business. After recently moving to California with my husband, I’m able to fully focus on building my business and helping clients bring their visions to life with thoughtful, tailored design solutions through my simple and collaborative process.

Wondering why my branding is so simple?

I’ve kept my personal brand identity simple on purpose. Collaboration is at the heart of everything I do, and I wanted my branding to reflect that. It’s not about me—it's about you and your vision. I didn’t want my personality to outshine yours, so I created a look that’s clean, flexible, and adaptable. This way, I can bring your unique style and personality to life through design, no matter the project.
